A private school in California has apologized to parents after a teacher shared a video of his leading preschool students condemning President Joe Biden.
A video obtained by ABC 7 News in Los Angeles shows an unnamed teacher at Norco Turning Point Christian School asking 4- and 5-year-olds, “Who is our president?”
When they simultaneously answer, “Biden”, the teacher asks, “What do we want to do with him?”
The students shouted back, “We want to get him out!”
Parent Christina McFadden told ABC 7 that the video of the President’s Day lesson was shared via the school’s messaging app, before it was downloaded.
Turning Point officials said in a statement to parents that the school was “sorry for any misunderstandings” caused by the video.
“A video was posted earlier today that has been deleted because it does not share our philosophy of respecting and honoring the authorities, including those in government positions in our school and church,” the school said in a statement.
School officials did not respond to a request for comment Monday.
It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
McFadden says he removed his daughter from school.
“It doesn’t matter which side of the fence you are on at the moment. It can happen in your child’s classroom, and it can happen, “he said.
Turning Point is a non-profit Christian organization that offers a wide range of programs for preschool up to the sixth grade, according to its website.
