If Twitter would marry YouTube you would get something like the new service 12seconds. Instead of 140 characters you get 12 seconds in front of your webcam to send messages to the world or your friends. It’s video-micro-blogging I suppose, an interesting evolution of two separate things; Internet video and micro-blogging.
The popular YouTube profile Renetto tried it on early but didn’t see any relevance in this service:

It remains to see if there will be a community built around this service. No community = no future. It’s not about technology, it’s about people and what they want to do on their own precious time. Will it be video-micro-blogging? Perhaps, we will just have to wait and see.
