The future is looking bright for Swedish mobile-to-Internet video streaming service Bambuser. Yesterday their brand ambassadeur Adam Tensta appeared on one of Swedens most popular Swedish TV shows, a sing-a-long show that draws a huge crowd each week. The performance is available on both Bambuser and MySpace. On top of that they just went public on Jaiku with the news that Norwegian venture capital firm Kistefos will invest in the company.

Bambuser is quite similar to Qik which is a service that is becoming widly popular among international bloggers and Internet profiles. One difference between the services is that Bambuser offers streaming both from your computer and mobile which I think is a smart move since it brings to a feeling of seamlessness. But at the moment Qik, in my eyes, delivers a better viewing experience with both better video and audio quality, but with the new VC Bambuser just might catch up on the technical side. They already have a loyal community that seems to accept the lower quality in service, but to expand to a broader audience I think they need to improve the quality of the video and audio.
We congratulate Bambuser and wish them a bright future!
