This isn’t new as in “yesterdays-news” but still something I felt important to write about. I heard about at the latest show on CommandN and wanted to check it out. A few weeks ago three radio stations in Canada came together to do a live radio shows at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, they called it SickKids Radiothon. During this period they also videotaped the event. Head over to their YouTube channel to see all the videos. The three videos (part 1-3) let you see what’s actually happening at the hospital behind the scenes. This is apparantly an annual event that has been going on for as long as 21 years. It’s interesting that now, because of the Internet and the beauty of video podcasts like CommandN we over in Sweden here about it.

I’m wondering do you know any other good examples of events like this that use the force of the Internet to collect money, averseness and so on for a good cause?
By the way, even though the event is over for this time you can still donate!
