Who would thought there are so many “idols” out there? The TV-show goes on and now McDonald’s have their own internal talent show called “The Voice of McDonald’s”. All 1.6 million McDonald’s restaurants around the world got an invitation to send in their audition videos. And 3600 employees did from 53 (!) countries. Now the competition is coming to an end and there’s only 14 finalists left. In April one of them will win 25 000 dollars.

The website has generated over 200 000 site hits and over 46 000 visitors have voted for their favorites. Interesting way to engage your employees. That they choose to find their own Idol amongst their employees seems like a good choose, I suppose they can bare loosing one in their staff if he or she become a “real idol”.
