Yesterday was the “International delete your Myspace account day”. Simon Owens, the blogger behind the idea, wrote a blog post at his blog Bloggasm about 10 days ago were he told the world how sick he was of the social network site MySpace and that he urged more to join him in deleting their accounts. The post got a lot of attention, a spokes person from MySpace even replied on it. Big names in the blogosphere who wrote about the event were Techdigest, the Cranky Geeks host John C Dvorak and Mashable.
A lot of people tried but not everyone succeeded. So if you’re still one of those how feel like you want to eliminate one of all those social network accounts, head over to Simon’s explicative blog post.
